• Cracking linux password hash

  • Copy /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow file, then use unshadow to generate hash unshadow passwd-file.txt shadow-file.txt > unshadow

  • john --wordlist=/usr/share/wordlists/rockyou.txt unshadowed.txt
